Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 1 medium carrot, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, honey, cornstarch, and water until smooth.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add the remaining oil to the skillet.
  5. Stir-fry the broccoli, carrots, bell peppers, and snap peas for 4–5 minutes until crisp-tender.
  6. Add garlic and ginger, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Return the shrimp to the pan.
